I tried them at a friend's recommendation who is a first responder: cops and firefighters know the best places for a burger, you'd better believe it. Two Fat Guys is certainly no-frills: some tables inside, it smells a bit greasy, yellow and black are the main colors, looks clean enough but nothing really in the way of decoration. I would expect much of their business is done via take-away or drive-thru but there were a couple tables of people eating in when I came by as well. The cheeseburger I had was juicy and flavorful with the garnishes ample and tasted fresh. The unsweet iced tea also seemed fresh, I didn't get french fries or anything else so I cannot comment there but didn't seem like they had milkshakes which I found slightly surprising. I think they do have some hot dogs and items aside from burgers, though. It was a nice change from Culver's, the service was friendly and prompt, and seems to have a good location so I would recommend it.

If your in Lake City area and hungry for a good burger, your in luck and should head straight to Two fat guys burgers & fries! Similar to the national burger chain that has more guys but less flavor, the 2 fat guys burger was delicious and not greasy, also the fries were crispier, which are pet peeve's of mine with that other place. Two fat guys offers their great burgers and chicken sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks and fantastic onion rings all homemade and freshly made per order. Also the service was great, we went through drive thru and it took a few minutes for the food (it's cooked fresh per order), and was delivered to the window with a big smile and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there. I definitely recommend you go end enjoy a meal at Two fat guys next time your in Lake city.
